How to use essential oils for sleep?

1. Utilize one of the Freedom Kit Sleep oils

AromaSleep essential oil blend gently accompanies you at bedtime.
Freedom essential oil blend invites a moment of calm during your nightly routine. 
Inner Harmony essential oil blend has a harmonizing aroma. 
Valor essential oil blend produces an empowering and grounding aroma. 


You can also create a custom essential oil diffuser blend - use any of these  (lavender, Valerian, peace & calming, and /or harmony). Create an environment that’s conducive for sleep by
a. ) diffusing the oils in the bedroom at bedtime
b.) by applying them on the top & back of the head and back of neck


2. Rub a relaxing essential oil on the bottoms of the feet before bed. This is a great way to help you or a loved one prepare for bedtime.

3. Add essential oils to a warm bath before going to bed to create a calming clearing experience and prepare you for rest. 

4. If you prefer to shower at night, add an essential oil with a calming aroma to your conditioner or body wash. Use such oils as  Lavender, Sage, Palo Santo, or Ylang Ylang. The oils will linger and you’ll still smell them as you go to sleep. 

5. Combine any of the above mentioned calming essential oils with a few ounces of water in a spray bottle.  Mist over your pillows and bedding, even your bed clothing to allow you to inhale their aroma before and during your sleep.  




6. Place a few drops of any of your favorite calming essential oil on the outside fabric of a heating pad or neck wrap. Will help to relax the body.  

7.
 Add a few drops of the vitality internal use essential oils to a non-caffeinated cup of tea or warm water to help soothe the body before going to bed.  *You can use Roman Chamomile,  Lavender or Frankincense. 

8. Place a few drops of a calming essential oil or one from the Freedom kit in your hands. Rub the palms together, and massage your neck, forehead, solar plexus (abdomen) and temples to help create a relaxing atmosphere before going to bed. 

9. Some essential oils can be used directly in your mouth - such as Frankincense, to help promote peaceful sleep.*
